Are you an experienced and professional Tender Administrator with an eye for detail and
commitment to process excellence? A dynamic security company based in Centurion
(Eldoraigne) is seeking the services of a committed and hardworking Tender Administrator to
assist with the following duties:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Must have own transport.
  • Minimum of 3 (three) years’ work experience in the Security Industry
  • Must have knowledge of tenders, bidding process and security company documents.
  • Office Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30. Must be able to work afterhours and weekends when
    required with tender deadlines.

Must be 30 years of age or younger. (Fast learner, afterhours, technology advanced)

Duties:

  •  Must be able to keep a strict schedule / diary of tender briefings and tender closing dates.
  •  Arrange and update company documents to be certified.
  •  Read, understand and create a tender according to SPECIFIC requirements.
  • Must work neat with documents, compilation and have neat handwriting.
  • Must be able to create documents according to company templates such as methodologies (edit
    equipment lists, scope of works, manage company experience and reference letters
  • Must have hands-on approach towards bid creations and track record of working with multiple products
    and strict deadlines simultaneously.
  • You will play a key part in producing high quality tender documents and will use your prior experience in
    Supply Chain or Procurement to add value to the Tender process, helping the Sales team to win a
    greater number of tenders.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions
    given, prescribed routines and standard acceptable practices.
  • Extensive administrative experience with a thorough understanding of Tender processes – has
    coordinated, prepared and compiled bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities,
    tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications.
  • Has managed tender documentation through the full lifecycle from inception to completion.
  • Experience in ensuring that tender submissions represent the best possible response in terms of
    completeness, appropriateness, and within deadline.
  • Proven ability to evaluate the quality and calibre of information included in a tender, and to effect
    beneficial changes where necessary.
  • Keen appreciation of process optimisation and efficiency, with an ability to add exponential value to
    administrative processes and to measure success.
  • Logical, proactive and pragmatic approach to business
  • Superb written and spoken communication skills.
  • Advanced MS office skills, specifically Excel
  • High level numeracy skills
